Crossing Storage Services, Inc., established in 2018 is a warehouse providing storage and one-stop platform services for transportation, logistics and dry/cooler/freezer warehouse located in Vernon, CA.
We are looking for a class B delivery truck driver to make local and long distance (San Diego, etc.) deliveries. You will be
· Delivering Fresh/frozen products such as packaged meat(s) in boxes and on palettes, etc.
· Having Class B retail driving experience within the last year a plus and no automatic transmission restriction on your license.
· Maintaining Clean maintenance of the trucks, driving in an appropriate manner abiding to California law is a must.
· Clean Driving records preferred.
· May ask to check the driving record prior to hiring.
· Must meet all current State and Federal Regulations.
· Retail/commercial delivery experience a major plus.
1. Responsibilities and Duties
· Receive goods from our distribution centers, assisting with unloading as required
· Transport goods to client locations, observing safe driving best practices
· Unload goods for clients, taking care of fragile or delicate items
· Maintain accurate daily logs, verify, and complete required documentation and reports.
· Maintain vehicle and log repair needs and damage
· Setting and monitoring trailer temperatures and cleaning trailers between loads.
2. Qualifications and Skills
· Class B CDL
· Prior driving, delivery experience, and its Duration (Truck, Freezer Truck, etc.)
· Must have clean Driving record
· Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
· Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus
· Reports must be made to their department heads at the given designated time.
Schedule: 3 days a week~; Start time is 6:30AM ~ (Start date and time may vary by delivery time each week. Overtime may be necessary, must be able to work on weekends when needed.)
Pay: $21-$22 per hour, depending on the experience, overtime after the 8th hour.
